Most devices have built-in parental controls, and when devices aren’t that controllable (i.e. smart TVs and easy-to-reset console parental controls), either router can help filter traffic or other 3rd party’s offer a subscription DNS service – e.g. dyn.com, no-ip.com, and many more: https://dynamic.domains/dynamic-dns/providers-list/default.aspx

Games Consoles – important

Parental controls on all Xbox and Playstation consoles are weak. Bypassing parental controls is extremely easy if you know how – and most young people will know how, their friends will know or an internet search will explain how.

There is no way to prevent this.

If you wish to restrict internet use on games consoles you will need to add restrictions at the router level via the admin settings, presuming the broadband router being used includes these settings.

If required you will also need to subscribe to a DNS filtering service.
